Directions for giving online:

 

  1. Click on the "Donate" button to the right (you will be directed to the Paypal website).

  2. Enter the amount of your donation. You have the option to make it a recurring donation.

  3. If you have a PayPal account and are not already logged in, simply log in below. If you have multiple methods of payment linked to your PayPal account, you will then have the opportunity to change your payment method and finish the transaction*.

  4. If you do not have a PayPal account and are paying with a debit or credit card, choose continue at the bottom left of the screen. You will be asked to enter your card information securely. If you want to make this a recurring donation, we recommend creating a PayPal account for free to make it more convenient.

*Once you get to the "Review your Donation" screen, please click on "Special Instructions to the Seller" on the left under Purpose: Faith Family Church to designate the reason for your donation, i.e. tithes, offering, kitchen renovation, etc.

What is online giving through PayPal?

Online giving through Paypal is an easy and convenient way to support the ministry of Faith Family Church of God. The benefits of using online giving include the convenience of being able to give from anywhere at a time that is convenient for you, not having to write checks, and the ability to set up recurring donations so you don't miss an opportunity to give when you are away from the church.

 

How does the church process online donations or online payments?

FFCOG uses PayPal to process credit card and direct withdrawal donations and payments. PayPal handles all of the security necessary for processing the transaction and then transfers the money into the church bank account. The church receives an instant notification about the donation/payment. Our bookkeeper is able to enter donations into the normal giving record just like donations given on Sunday mornings.

 

How secure is online giving/payments?

PayPal is a secure way to make a payment with your credit card or bank account information because this information is only processed on PayPal's secure system. The church never sees or has access to your credit card or bank account information. You can see more information about PayPal security here.

 

Can I make an anonymous donation?

There is no way to make an anonymous donation through the use of online giving because PayPal does not have the ability to process anonymous donations. However, the bookkeeper at the church is the only one who knows who makes donations and the amount of the donation.

 

Do I need my own PayPal account?

There is no need for a PayPal account if you wish to make a one-time donation or single payment using your credit card. You will need a PayPal account to make a recurring donation or to make a donation or payment directly from your bank account. If you do not already have a PayPal account and choose the recurring donation option, you will be prompted to set up a PayPal account during the process.

 

Is there any charge or fee to me for this service?

No. You select the dollar amount for your gift or payment. That is the dollar amount that will be charged and your entire donation is tax deductible. The church pays a nominal fee to PayPal for the convenience and security of the service.
